About Me
I published my first short story more than 30 years ago, and have been writing and editing professionally ever since. Writing for varied consumer and business audiences, I have crafted everything from feature stories and newsletters to website copy and product reviews. I have covered topics ranging from digital photography to prison architecture to behavior change marketing.
I’ve penned a column, written white papers, and reviewed scores of consumer and business products. I've been a magazine editor, website and newsletter editor, and the copywriter for a website redesign. I blogged before it was a verb in the dictionary, and hosted a video to torture test the first iPhone (horrifying Apple-worshippers in the process).
My column at PC World explored human behavior in the information age, and led to a fellowship at the Western Knight Center for Specialized Journalism at U.C. Berkeley.
I studied creative writing and I'd like to think it shows. Editors attest to both my linguistic flair and accuracy. I wear both hats comfortably, possessing both a wild imagination and an intolerance for incorrect spelling, confusing punctuation, and bad grammar. Have a project that needs a seasoned writer and top-shelf editor? I look forward to hearing from you.
